  • Kuvaus: I. Sopwith 1-1/2 Strutter is flown off starboard echelon turret of an Indefatigable Class battle cruiser - an Invincible Class ship is visible in the background as the aircraft circles. After the launch, the flying-off platform is stripped from the guns. II. Sequence showing a Beardmore WB III, N.6123, being lifted from the hangar of HMS Nairana, positioned on the flight deck, and flown off - HMS Furious visible in the background. III. Medium shot/medium close-up as airship SSZ3 comes in to alight on a grass field, and is pushed into its hangar. Five RNAS Sea Scout pilots pose with their mascot dog. IV. Panning long shot, left to right over fleet anchorage - St Vincent Class (HMS Collingwood ?), two Colossus Class battleships, and HMS Agincourt (only part of which appears in frame). Long shot off the starboard bow of a Colossus Class battleship as it flashes a signal across Forth anchorage, and close-up of a rating operating a signal searchlight. Final sequence of airship R9 passing over three Iron Duke Class battleships anchored in quarter line - the nearest has a Marksman Class Leader alongside (cf IWM 551/07).
